I struggled with wether or not to choose MFW or Heart of Dakota as well. Last year (for preschool) we went with Heart of Dakota and I loved it and wanted to do it again this year but everyone I know it seems is doing MFW. Thus the should I, shouldn't I. It was really nice to hear your comparison of the two and helped me feel even better about my decision to continue with Heart of Dakota.
